Going agianst all of your advice and selling the proflex 656

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... roflex+656

Would love to keep them both but space is now a real issue. Looking at the whole bike if poss. cause I'm very lazy

The bike is in great shape mechanically new elastomers new chain and cassette, V good cond. deore thumbies, purple x-lite riser bar, xt front der. onza yellow grips . Bad points are there are a few paint chips and dodgy red touch ups on the frame(adds to the bikes charm  ) and a very poor yellow powdercoat on the rear swing arm. The rear xt brake is also a bit sticky as the bike was orig designed for canti's however I have a set of Magura's (red tomac's) that could fit the bike with the addition of a few spare parts- would look great with this bike.

Only thing different with the bike will be pedals, saddle and post. Putting back the orig. proflex seat tube and san marco saddle and the bike now has red dx flat/clip pedals (much better).

I have also upgraded the rear der. to xt also.

Looking at £200 posted but if you are only interested in frame/forks, happy to look at £140 posted.

Will get you more pictures if you are interested.

Great bike but I have been seduced by the dark side (boing boing).

I think it is what proflex call a large coz it is the same size as my new beast (and that still has the sticker on it  ). However I ride 18 inch bikes and this bike is a good fit. I thought when I got the beast that I would have to sell it but it fits well too.

Have a look at this thread where another member talks about proflex sizes.
