Principia MSL Pro ...

Sithlord

Old School Grand Master
Hi Guys,

I originally bought this frame back in 2001/02 , brand new from RBS Cycles in Portsmouth, at a cost of around £ 1200.00 (have receipts and owners docs) I built it up using the finest kit known to man :)

The frame weighs around 1100grms and frame measures 15" c-c and 17.5 c-t ,and it is disc specific. head tube size is 1 1/4 , but is shimmed down to 1 1/8. :)

I rode this frame for about two seasons, so has had light usage, last year I stripped the anodising off ready to send off for respray , but was too impatient and decided to undertake the spray job myself, so not the best finish, but still very functional..:)

please dont be mistaken for thinking this is a 'cheap' or 'robot' built frame, it was hand made by the original small company 'Principia'

This frame type is still available today, however it is not hand built by 'Principia' as the company went into liquidation , I think around 2003 , the name remains but these are now made in the far east somewhere, even though they are still nice bikes, they are not a patch on this handmade beauty...

If you would like any further info or would like to view it in person then you are very welcome.. just drop me a PM

Crikey, thought this would sell at that price. It rides bloody fantastic- shame about the paint, but what a frame.

Can't see the finish n the frame for all the mud? what's it really like? Looking for anything to px at all? cheers WR

Price is indeed fair...

Have had a MacB and MacSL for two years now and they were one of the best riding bikes I have ever ridden....

Cheers fella's,

It has to be said, that I was blown away with the ride quality of this frame when I bought it, I would say it comes close to the 'feel' of a quality steel frame, but without the weight or rust issues. :)

If it does not sell soon, may have to mothball it and put it on the backboiler ;)

As I have said I am open to sensible offers :)
