With the help of Drystonepaul, I'm off to the powder coaters with a couple of frames on Friday 11th September, so I thought I would bundle up some of other parts from the shed and get them done while I'm there for no reason other than... well there's a misplaced economic logic in there somewhere!

These guys are literally just round the corner from me and I'm becoming a bit of a regular customer.
Dead Rats is dropping in a couple of frames to me tomorrow and they are going in along with another frame from a mate and another one of mine.
They normally charge about £30 for frame and forks including stripping and normal turnaround is about a week to ten days.
The results are very good.
If you want a hand with getting anything to them just PM me.

Finished forks + blue & green stuff + DMR STS roller

As promised here are two pairs of 1" rigid threaded forks, both freshly powder coated gloss white... I'm asking £25 for each pair posted to UK, which is cheap considering they have both been sandblasted and powder coated (by a chap who was thoughtful enough to mask off the crown, threads and brake bosses). Unused since - just been unwrapped to check fantastic finish - pics don't do them justice so I can send more close-ups without flash if you're interested!

Raleigh 1" threaded rigid steel forks
for v-brake or canti (three spring holes)
142mm steerer, top 33mm is threaded
395mm crown race to axle
two sets of eyelets

RIGHT:
beefy 1" threaded rigid steel forks, unsure of brand
for v-brake or canti (three spring holes)
134mm steerer, top 21mm is threaded - ie they've been cut down but carefully
395mm crown race to axle
one set of eyelets
