Posting photos

Need help although this question has probably been asked before.
Can I post photos directly into a thread ie. not from a link such as flickr, photobucket or other photo storage site? I've noticed just about every photo I've looked at is from another site and I don't yet have an account at one of these. Got the photos ready on my pc, just scared to start a topic and find out I can't follow it through.

Under the white box where you type your post is a black bordered box with 'Add an Attachment' in it.. click that..

......just make sure it's not too 'big' - off the top of my head you can go just over 250kb..

Easy enough to download a photo resizer if you're on windows XP too

Thanks, I thought that would be it but was wary with all the others being links. Don't suppose you have any idea of maximum size to save me a bit of trial and error.

Images -> Maximum Upload Size: 256 KB
Extension of gif jpeg jpg png are allowed

just keep it under 256kb

I always resize to 640x480
