Possible Zaskar on Bumblebee

funny you should say that !

Phew, I wondered if anyone had spotted this at the time. Luckily no-one bit.

Anyway, I bought it (for peanuts, still grinning). I thought it was some sort of ali GT so figured it worth a go. It's a 94 model year Zaskar, few scratches but otherwise came up beautiful.

Currently planning the rebuild (so many options!).

See attached for better pix.

Yup £ 2 9 !!!!

Still can't stop grinning. Always wanted a Zaskar and it's even an 18inch frame. It's perfectly straight it was just really dirty and obviously didn't say it was a Zaskar. Apart from a few battle scars it's polished up beautifully.

Bit of a mish-mash parts wise.

94 GT Zaskar frame
RST 280 forks (knackered)
Tiogo Aheadset (original)
BB dunno (but runs fine)
FSA Power Pro crank, single speed front (works fine)
Shimano STX rear mech (good nick)
Dia Compe 737 Vbrakes
Wheels - Rear :Araya (Shimano hub)
- Front :Weinman (same as my other GT, cheap but good).
Tioga & WTB tyres good nick loads of tread.
Deore LX brake levers

It was worth that much as spares for my other GT.

All I've spent so far is polish an dusters, new set of cables and a cheap chain to get it working. Other than that swapped some parts I had in the shed.

Currently trying to decide on spec as that frame style was used for several years. Quit fancy getting different year decal set and building up to an original-ish spec without being too fussy.

ebay and the missus permitting !

They say RX7 and the size.
Hub is Shimano Exage.

I'm not too up on wheels so no idea what all that means.
