still looking for some autosol. will hit a few auto parts stores on the weekend. although i don't know when i will be getting at this project. i have too many on my plate as it is. right now concentrating on my ti-mega. which is plodding along. still need an alpinestars fok. hint hint. :D

Don't think you can get Autosol locally Roy - I saw an aluminum wheel polishing product at Canadian Tire that sounded like it would do the trick. Good luck - I've toyed with the idea of stripping and polishing a frame too.

You need a product called mothers mag - it's an American product but like autosol. It must be good as it says "fatal if ingested" on the side of the pot  It's brilliant and does the job in no time! :P warning just go gentle with the grit paper.

Autosol can be had from any car supplies shop, probably halfords too :? Its about £8 a tube but thats enough to do the whole frame and many other bits besides.
B&Q have it for about £5  look in their car car section.

Wet&dry isnt sandpaper so dont ask for it by the name 'sandpaper' as you'll be pointed in the wrong direction.W&D is grey in colour.

Note* I have seen some mechanics substitute T-cut in place of autosol.Much the same thing-a burnishing cream :?

I'll take the Ti Mega off your hands if you're struggling to fit in your other projects around it ;)

I've got an Alpinestars fork for sale too, although it's not one of the posh ti ones
