I've just got my self a Xizang and would like to know what you use to bring her to a sparkly shine???
I used to use autosol on my Zaskar bitd, whats best to use on a Xizang?

Cheers

Dave

Google polishing titanium, plenty on there although lots and lots of elbow grease required. IIRC seanstephens did a good job on his, see the members bike forums.

I bought that Xizang frame off of seanstephens, the finish is lovely, could probably do with a clean now tbh

I would think autosol would be the go, then if you really want it to shine - Autoglym metal polish is a great product for going on top of the autosol

This sounds like the very opportunity for us to photograph and post up the shiniest, most polished part of our Ti steeds :D
Always an excuse if you look hard enough.

I use autosol on a soft cloth.
Forget wire wool because if you start to use it you will have to continue till the whole frame is done THEN do the same thing again with the soft cloth.

Rubber gloves are a must.the thin surgeons ones not big clumsy marrigolds

Or if your a lazy git look up metal polishers in your area.
Who will use a polishing machine and have no real idea about the thickness of bike tubing.
Personally,i'd do the polishing myself as it is an easy if not laborious task,it means no chance of 'accidents'
