I have these 170mm cranks for sale. I stripped off the black and polished them. My first go at polishing so it's not amazing but they look smart. I suppose if you had the time you could make them better if you really wanted to.

Some people thought they were XT or XTR so I can't have done too bad a job!! ;-)

Anyway, £14 posted and I'll include a full set of bolts with them too. You can also have the full set of black biopace rings as well for an extra £3 on top to cover postage if you want them.

Paypal gift or you pay the fees. Will combine with other stuff to knock a bit of cash off - just let me know what you want. I have 2 other sale threads at http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=144577 and http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... 72#1117272 .

Thanks for looking.

interest
do you have a pic of the biopace rings
this is not compact I expect so 110 ?
any ref number on the inside of the arms ?
thanks

Can do pic of Biopace rings tonight. They aren't new looking but pretty smart and barely any wear at all - they are steel so you'd expect that anyway!

Cranks are 400LX - read through the link to see the little competition I did to guess the model. Some very knowledgable people thought they were much higher up in the range!!

Thanks very much.
Another pic below.

Other very knowledgable people also thought they were further down!

But having done this same job to a pair of 330LXs, I think this is a steal as it takes bloody hours, and if time is money....

That's not very helpful. :-(

Yes, I think i put about 5/6 hours into it. I actually de-seamed them too.
They look as good as my polished DX ones which cost 3 times as much. :-/

i ll finally pass as I have already some surplus to requirements

( but for the ones who have done some filing and polishing - that's a steal" to grab  )

take the lot

Hi, If these will replace my exage 500lx cranks and biopace rings 48t 38t 28t
then I shall take them.
Cheers
Sean
