Middleburn 36t chainring and flat bars were posted this morning 1st Class Recorded. They should get to there destination by the weekend if the Royal Mail pull their fingers out.
Anyone fancy the polished stem? It's lovely, super shiny and is guaranteed to boost your pulling power.
Will you be using a bench grinder or drill? Machine Mart do a great drill mounted kit for £10.56 which will ease you into the crazy world of polishing. Beware, it is very addictive.
Have a go with the Machine Mart kit first and see how you get on but those medium wheels from Amazon are great. The quickest way to a good job is to use the Amazon wheel with the brown compound, then to use the Machine Mart felt wheel with some green compound (available on ebay) Excess compound can be cleaned off with Peek metal polish on a soft cloth/duster. (eBay also)
If you have a workmate, use that to clamp your drill in place so you can use both hands to hold the thing you're polishing. Marigold rubber gloves are good too (pink ones are my personal favourites ) as the metal gets pretty hot and it's dirty work.
Basically, get the kit and get stuck in as you will work out your technique once you've done a couple of items.
