it's been off for a while for me then it sorted itself but was really slow again for the last 5-10 minutes.

as with johnnyboy above, site has been struggling to load any pages, did get a popup from windows saying the certificate could not be authenticated.
maybe the host forgot to update it's certificate ?

SAme as yesterday and it's the same time. Exact same thing.

Have a check to see if any 'background' tidying up or backup are going on at about 8:30?
