PM issues and errors

Always possibly that it's something with the host rather than this site. Sometimes they have, like you say, backups or particularly heavy useage periods that seize up the routers or firewalls for a brief period.

as with johnnyboy above, site has been struggling to load any pages, did get a popup from windows saying the certificate could not be authenticated.
maybe the host forgot to update it's certificate ?

You'd think certificates would only be an issue if you were connecting through SSL, and can't see any areas (when I connect anyway) using https. Weird.

Similar things of slow site and unusability at around 8:30am to some time after this morning.

I did tracert it last night and it gets to the host servers (not retrobike name) and dies there on it's second hop (I think there are three.)

look at it now it's still a bit dodgy
12 (is first 43.sp.com
13 223 ms 49 ms 50 ms ge0-0-0.r4.man1.34sp.com [80.82.127.50]
14 is 3rd 34sp.com
15 would be here.

Unsure what the certificate issue Khane has noted may be.

All the issues experienced over the last few days related to slowness and the site not being reachable are related to an issue the hosting provider is having with a malicious attack. It seems they had another issue this morning although all seems well now. Will have to monitor this, obviously if things continue will have to consider moving the site.

SAme as yesterday and it's the same time. Exact same thing.

Have a check to see if any 'background' tidying up or backup are going on at about 8:30?

No. As per my previous message the issue is at the hosting provider. 8:30 UK would not be a good time to run any scheduled jobs anyhow.

If people do note issues please get in touch is all I can say. I'm not on the site 24/7 and if I don't know there is nothing I can do about it!

Im getting a drop down bar saying IE has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors.

Anymore details? Just had a curious pop up on my mobile, think related to a google served banner advert.
