PM adatper for 160 mm front disc

got a 185 adapter to mount post mount caliper to post mount fork.

if I wanted to change to 160 mm disc, do I need an adapter?

Not usually, the caliper bolts direct to the 74mm post mount if you want to use 160mm dia rotor.

as above,normally 160 post mount will go straight onto the mount

shorter bolts will be needed though

^^^ thx for confirming ... I was kinda coming to that conclusion by the lack of 160 mm post adapters.

weird thing though, the 185 mm adapter is 20 mm thick; removing that puts the caliper 20 mm nearer - that is radial distance so rotor would be 185 - 20 -20 = 145 mm diameter, hmmmmm..... (unless I have a 203 mm disc on the front ... suppose I now have to go an measure it, excpet adapter has 185 mm stamped on it)

i dont think its radial, you will notice the adapter comes out at an angle
