Chin up mate, the weather can only improve  8)
Sorry forgot where i lived for a minute there :D

Your not kidding its been rain, rain and a bit more rain lately

Lovely run last night along the sea front and then up a road thats lined on both sides by tall trees, I was skipping along nicely then I started to hear a lot of rustling above me in the trees  followed shortly after by a bloody great squirrel landing on me

I'm not sure who was more scared the squirrel or me, it ran up my arm and leapt off my shoulder and into the trees. I've got two little scratches on my hand so Mrs Jones says I should have a Tetanus jab :?

I've had a look at the symptoms of Tetanus " The main symptoms of tetanus are muscle spasms and muscular rigidity " so a lot like the symptoms of marathon training

8 miles planned for tonight in 'squirrel country' unless I develop lock jaw

Then 18 miles on Sunday

Fed up with this bloody rain now :( doesn't exactly help your motivation when its cold, dark, windy and pouring with rain :?

8 miles planned for tonight, 10 miles tomorrow night, 8 miles on Friday, day off on Saturday then 20 miles on Sunday

This is when I start finding the training hard, when the mid week long run gets up to 10 miles its starts to feel like a VERY long run after a day in work :?

Only 8 weeks to go

Thanks both :D 20 miles done and dusted this morning, I was o.k for 17 but the last 3 were a struggle :?

A little snooze this afternoon I think
