Can anyone identify these?

Anything I can supply to help identify?

Would there be a specific repair/inspection video or tutorial? Based on the way they failed, my instinct was they may be able to be repaired or serviced. One day we pulled it off the hanger and it didn't rebound.

Are parts even avalible for such a thing? And are they worth repairing?

1996 Judy SL - BITD the Judy you must have - Ti Hardware,...

But this example looks in a sorry state - elastomeres are perished, I would assume that the cartdrige is blown and all the oil is gone, one of the adjuster missing - stanchions could show corrosion too :(

in the end everythings is repairabel, but for a price. If you want to know what is exactly the status quo of the fork, dismantle it (that's easy to do) and you will know.

Good luck. :)

Before you buy anything: Check the stanchions for wear. If they are scrathed, don't put money in.

Internally should be this...

As said above, best checking the stanchions first.

Undo the bolts on the bottom, but not all the way out. Give a 'gentle' tap with a hammer to loosen the push rods. Then fully undo and the lowers should slide off.
Note; the non drive-side bolt has a hole through it so adjustments can be made to the damper cartridge.

That's the first bit to check.

If all is good on the stanchions we can run through the rest of the rebuild; oil cartridge may need a rebuild or replace (if plastic version).

Hope that helps

cheers
Chris
