PLEASE COULD SOMEONE IDENTIFY THIS FRAME

The seat tube doesn't ring a bell. I'm trying to think of quality MTBs that have a kick stand mount...

<thinking>

Nope, there isn't any.

Re:

Find the serial numbers and any other details with better pictures. Take the picture of the random bike you've posted out, as it confuses things.

Get a decent side view, no picture really shows the full shape of the bike.

Well its good of you to register just to post me a rrplie thankyou

I've been a Retrobike viewer for some time actually, and there's so much coolness here that I've long been wanting to sign on. You've inspired me.

So it's thanks to you!

I'm repaying you with my presence. Over time you'll see that I'm actually awesome, and that it's a privilege to have me here.

Re:

I can't help identify the frame exactly, but I'd agree it's a mass produced ally frame (but how many bikes don't fall into that category these days anyway?), instinct tells me that it's nothing to get too excited about.
Maybe a few more pics of the frame would help someone else to identify it?
If you have some scales then finding the frame weight would be interesting.
To say that it's nothing special is not necessarily a bad thing, plenty of people on this site have a lot of fun riding bikes that were pretty bog standard when they were produced, so the only way you'll truly know what it is like is to build it up and ride it.
And hopefully at some point you'll discover what frame it actually is.

Re:

This frame was indeed manufactured in the far east, but something I never saw here in a range of branded bikes (that's not to say it wasn't), but was offered to the trade in bundle deals as O/E disposal, and only in the polished finish. (E.Reece )

From memory it was manufactured using 6061 grade.

Hope this is of some help.

Thankyou but this wasnt originally polished as there is signs of the paint being removed so maybe it wasnt the one you think

Re:

I cant comment, on how you came by the frame, nor whether or not it was a an assembled bike previously that may or may not have been painted, I can only comment on what I Know im afraid. The O/E disposal of these frames here in the U.K were only available as frame only and were all polished. (at least from E.Reece anyway)

The seat tube being the distinguishing feature, making it a hard frame to forget when it was offered.
