hello people, after getting myself a 1998 kona lavadome fully original on a local free ad site for £25, my friend is desperate to get one himself, we have come to the conclusion that it was a really rare bargain so he has set himself a higher bargain budget of £100!
i was ideally looking to get a complete retro kona with original spec, just to keep the cost down, there was a 1995 hahanna for £75 on the same local site but it sold straight away.
if anybody has a whole bike that would be ideal, as long as it works (no need for a high spec) just remember we are on a tight budget of £100 + postage,
we are prepared to build a bike from bits but it means our budget for a frame will be around £20posted, i hope somebody has a basket case kona out there to help a learning enthusiast.
