PINNACLE OR MOUNTAIN KLEIN?

Do any of the people in the know have any idea what I have here? Im not sure if its a 1990 pinnacle or a 1989 mountain klein. I thought all of the mountain kleins had a U brake on the back but digging around there appears to be some with cantis with the same colour fork as this. The pinnacles that I have rooted out all seem to have the same 3 colour paint fade on the fork where mine is just a single colour.
If it helps the right hand dropout is stamped 30 and the left hand is stamped R0AA7K.

In addition to the U brake yours appears to have round chainstays?

Good point mr hippy chopper, those round to square stays do seem to make it a pinnacle. I thought that was probably the case, it was just the single tone fork that was puzzling me. I dont think anybody could conjure up a more turn of the decade colour scheme if they tried. Is your master plan complete yet?

Looking at your pics is yours the one that was on ebay a few months ago on a buy it now that started at £1500 or so then slowly slipped down and down to a couple of hundred?

Mine was from ebay appeared on a £250 BIN it inc shipping, not a relist

crazy! So I actually posted it on here cos the price was frankly silly cheap, not complete though, no wheels...

however before anyone else had a chance to buy it I convinced myself I could survive spending the £250 and nab it myself

It sounds like the same one I was thinking about myself, was it from germany? If it is he had it up a few weeks before for mega silly money, I watched the bin go less and less then "someone" snapped it up before I pressed the buy button. Worked out fine in the end though eh?
Liked the comedy stem nonsense, made me chuckle.

Ha! Yeah it was, blimey that was lucky for me then!

I spotted it when it had only been on a little while, posted it here in the ebay section and we all talked about how whoever nabbed it was gonna be a lucky git...

So I agreed with myself and bought it... I'd have been gutted if it had gone!

Yeah the stem thing was interesting I enjoyed it in a twisted way and it turned out rosy in the end

Are the rear dropouts spaced correctly for that wheel ? I am only viewing on my phone but it doesn't look quite square ?

Yes and no, They are clamped up square but I just shoved the 135mm wheels in for the photos before I chopped the axle down to 130mm

It could be the pic but I see what you mean... I reckon it would be worth popping that wheel out just to see if somebody forced the dropouts open to get it in - I had re-space my rear wheel

I spotted some another coincidence! looks like you have a Miche headset? I just got one of those... looked cool... I got it and found weighs approximately nothing at all
