Pidgeons!

This is how the pigeons get fed in my garden

Oh you lot are cruel!! He's eating out of our hands already, I think I'll keep him!! Possibly call him Prince Pidge!! Or maybe not ...?! Lol!!

Yes chris667, I know that if a racing pigeon is too late home then it gets its neck wrung, that's why I want to keep it here so it does survive!!

Anyway, funny moments of today, got to Ma's this morn, called "Hi Pidge" down the garden, went into the house, got bird food, came out and he was sat by the back door waiting for me to come out!! 10 mins later Ma came out, had a handful of peanuts, and he ate the lot out of her hand ... they didn't even touch the sides!! Cheeky bugger!!

Then a bit later on I was sorting out Ma's kitchen, and walked towards the garage with a couple of brown cardboard boxes ... Pidge took off and landed on the garage roof ... I think he thought I was carrying one of those transporting boxes for racing!! He didn't come down for ages!!

I'll keep you up to date with the latest news, and ignore the nasty advice that I've received,

Best wishes,
L x

Someone will pay big money for that turquoise ano spacer if you write Ringle on it.

if you feed it enough, it wont budge, it will just get fat and lazy until the local fox or sparrowhawk come and collect it

Cheers saltyman, we've got enough buzzards around here!! lmao!!

And thanks lots lumos2000, unfortunately we can't actually catch it, I've tried to take pics of its leg ring, but I can't get any clear enough!! Maybe I'll be able to get it to eat out of my hand long enough to take a decent photo!! :D Keep your fingers crossed!!
