I bought my Proflex 854 off this fellow - he's legit, and there's some chance I actually rode with him in the mid 1990s at some point! I made the mistake of going to his items for sale just to see what things he's discovered lately. Well:



The good: oh my god just look at that

The bad: needs a total stripdown and rebuild, forks are seized

Tell you what, if one of you lot buys this and starts a build thread I'll give you my perfectly-functional Mag 21s for free to transplant the bottom half?? Because I rather want to see it restored but my bank balance absolutely cannot take a third project in as many months. ;D

I'd be concerned about the bonding. Those lugs don't look great.

I was offered a pair of the wheels not long ago. I turned them down after feeling the weight. They are very heavy.
