For Sale Peugeot PY10 FC

Retro Guru
Sadly it is time to thin out my bike collection. First up is my Peugeot PY10 FC. built as a homage to the team bikes -

Head tube: 14cm
Top tube (c to c): 55.5cm
Seat tube: 57cm (ctr of bottom bracket to top of seat tube)

Handlebars: Cinelli Giro D'Italia (42cm)
Stem: Cinelli 1R
Handlebar tape: Benotto
Brakes: Weinmann Carrera 400
Brake levers: Weinmann Carrera
Gear levers: Simplex SLJ 5057 (retrofiction)
Front Derailleur: Simplex SLJA 522
Rear Derailleur: uber rare Simplex LJ4000CP/SP (delrin body)
Bottom bracket: uber rare Stronglight 701 Titanium Axle
Chainset: Stronglight 107 (52/42)
Hubs: Maillard 700 Professional
Rims: NOS Mavic tubular rims (stickered to look like Mavic SSC)
Tyres: Vittoria Rally Tubular
Seatpost: showing a campagnolo one in the photos but will come with the correct Simplex SLJ 6164
Saddle: Selle Italia Turbo
Headset: Tange headset with Stronglight/Spidel lockring

Bike is in general superb condition, and super light for it's age (early 1980's). Built up but never ridden! to note, there are some minor marks on the forks, and an near imperceptable bend one of the seat stays, but the bike is 'true', and is the best of it's type I have seen.

Very nice example indeed. Pretty much same equipment as Vitus 979 of the same era, guess the badge is different, rest is in fact the same bike..

Hi all, thanks for the replies. The frame on this bike is actually unique to Peugeot. They made the carbon tubes with a larger diameter as they wanted the frames to have a similar ride characteristic to the steel equivalent bikes. You can see the differences such as the metal collars at the joins of the tubes and the lugs.

There is some great info and pictures in this blog:
