hi all i have just bought bike got it running ok i would like some help with serial number y70648526 i have looked all over the net and get seem to find a list of years to match etc. also is it possible to still get paint for older bikes somebody told me you can use nail varnish ? i would just like to clean and cover up some rust spots. there is a sticker on bike which reads PE10N 57 5727844. i know PE10N is the model but not sure about the rest i would be really grateful for some help as i have only just got into cycling . many thanks simon.

there is a very good site with loads of history on peugoet bikes , but i cant remember its address , so soon as i find it will let you know .
yours is a pe10n model as you already know . poss aged from late 80's to around 1992 , difficult to tell with out pics .
