Peugeot ANC Halfords Bike

New to cycling and just inherited a bike with name above on frame. Bike is working and just did a 50 miler. However I would like to get something a little more up to date and was wondering if the retro community could advise if this bike is worth anything on trade in, if if this interests anyone as resale. I have done a little on line research and it seems there is some interest in these old frames.

Any advice/help greatly appreciated

How you doing mate?

Adrian Timmis' will be worth a few quid (753 tubing & provenance) but a bog standard one will be worth very little in comparison.

You probably can't post pics yet unless so you'll need to put a link to dropbox or similar to show it off, but a little more info on frame material, component make etc. & you should get some decent feedback on here. But without that - £20 to £2000!!!

I have looked on the book bike and gave found following numbers and detail so any further advice much appreciated.

Under main crank number read Y61041754
A sticker of on of back forks reads what looks like P101s62 and has another number 5267955 on sticker.
It has old fashioned looking CLB brakes
The rear derailleur is marked as shimano sis
The frame looks like 62cm from centre crank to top of seat pole (I am told that's the measurement i need.
From seat pole to handle bars it's 60 cm
The seat I have had to replace as original nail orange one was falling apart.

That's all I can say so interested if any advice from anyone as to value as fixer upper. Frame is a bit worn in places so potential repay? But would be a good addition to a loving home.

If you look back you'll see my Ex ANC Team Bike restoration (ex Joey McLoughlin). During the era Peugeot made team replica bikes, they where a lower spec but painted ion team colours, given this value is not much £50 - £150 dependant on condition.
