Pedal Suggestions Please

Good morning RBers,

As things are progressing with my 1975 Gazelle A Frame, I am thinking about pedals - these items are really required to help the bike move. Any suggestions would be appreciated - nothing too mad pricewise please.

Are there Dura Ace pedals from that era?

How apt that you should search for pedals. I have some very nice campag ones here that would suit it a treat if you could find some. A mint pair just went for £65 on the bay.
 
SR might be the way forward - SB bars, stem, seat post and pedals perhaps?

UPDATE - PLEASE READ !!!

I did wonder about Mr History's point. PLEASE NOTE -

SR is NOT Campag Super Record - it is SR Sakae - which is much cheaper!!! LOL

Apologies for any confusion caused, Mr Raleigh knew what i meant but he knows about the bike!!!

MKS Sylvan quills are a £25 alternative to a genuine original set of Campags or SR quills and have adjustable bearings. Mine have done thousands of miles and I got them second hand.

The longer distance racers used to prefer one of the flat Campagnolo pedals over quills which I think was lower down the Campag range. Quills are ok on short rides but are narrow and can get uncomfortable if your foot isn't the 'right' shape.
