PayPal claims.

Has anyone had to put a claim into PayPal ?
I am in the process of a paypal claim.
My son bought a pair of trainers which were sold as genuine, but after wearing them twice they are falling apart. After starting a PayPal dispute I received an email from PayPal telling me to dispose of the trainers to pursue the claim.
Has anyone had success with a PayPal claim ?

Yes, on a few occasions. Takes time what with the 'time to reply' thing but as a buyer has never failed.

Yup, never lost, even as a seller. Paypal protection is heavily loaded towards the buyer.

Have any of you ever had to send a signed letter to PayPal ?
I have to fax a signed reply saying I have disposed of the trainers.

Presumably part of their counterfeiting policy.

I tried faxing documents to PayPal.
Had no success, kept coming back with no answer.
Anyone else had this issue ?
