Parcelforce & Damage Claims

Having THE worst day ever. Treated myself to a cannondale F600 that I bought off mullinino through this forum only for it to arrive today with a hole punched in the side of the box it was delivered in and a huge dent and scratches to the frame :(

The only problem is, they need confirmation of the value of goods, which I dunno how I'm gonna do because I paid cash sent via recorded delivery (and I can't find the reciept :?) and it wasn't through eBay or anything where there is proof of purchase!

Can anyone offer me any advice or peace of mind...

It's the last time I treat myself I reckon, as it always goes wrong.

Had a similar situation myself with a bike I sold on here.

I sent via senditnow.com, who sub the jobs to Parcel Farce.

Normal insurance with them is up to £150 IIRC, but the seller may have increased insurance if the sale price was more.

Print off all PM's etc detailing the sale and price agreed etc.

Print off their claim form and send with copies of PM's and photos of the damage.

Should be a fairly straight forward process.
