Wanted Pair of fast rolling tyres 26"

Havent got anything to sell but have suggestions from personal experience

Maxxis 310's - hard to find but fast and light
Schwalbe Fast Fred Light - same as above but not as light
Continental Speedking Racesport 2.2 - fast , most chubby on this list.
Wear rate not so great.
Continental RaceKing Racesport 2.2- suprisingly fast on tarmac but heaviest in this list
Innova Pro cobra Skin - my favourite. Light, grip and wear rate excellent
Chaoyang Merlin - fast, light and grip amazing. Wear out extremely quickly though

Not tried yet

Geax aka Pluma - lightest mtb ever. Sub 300grams.

All tested tyres have been ridden on a mix of tarmac and gravel/dirt/grass. Mostly tarmac wet and dry. Only the Raceking is any good in real mud. All others have been great allrounders

Just did a bunch of great miles today on Michelin Country Rock 26x1.75. Fast rolling on pavement, loves gravel, csn handle a little mud or rocky singletrack, doesn't look out of place on a hotrod... 20250620_135129~2.webp

I have used Country Rocks. They are a pretty good allrounder but i found the tread was really good at collecting little stones, flints, and thorns. Lots of tick-tick-tick cycling along and few punctures from the trapped items.
There is also an angle i could get to, when really leaning the bike over, where i could feel that sharp edge to the tread. Sometimes there was a bit of slip in the wet. They served me well though and they felt pretty good with a latex tube. Not too portly either.
