Pace RC36 spring colours.

Re:

Interesting... I had the originals measured on a proper spring rate calibration macine. The mediums are supposed to be for a 10-11 stone rider.

Rampage, depending on the year the springs just had a stripe of paint on them. Neither my originals or firm replacements for the RC36 evo are powder coated.
I'm 14st and find even the firms a bit soft. One thing I've found good is to replace the tiny soft initial spring at the bottom with one of the optional 20mm extensions from the Pro Class.

Re:

Looks like they just had the stripe of paint on them then!

The ones in the forks were a different diameter / length to the NOS red ones I have.

Rekiborter: what sort of cost are the ones your having made? And what weight are they intended for?

Re:

Rampage IME there are two types of springs - the blue/grey with a coloured stripe on them that were for 70mm travel with the soft initial spring and the optional +20mm wee spring, and then the solid colour (I've only seen red) spring that was longer for 90mm travel I assume.

Later Pro Class 2's went to lots of small springs I think.

Hope this helps. It probably doesn't but hey I tried! :)
