Nah i tried everything short of twisting as seemed a little delicate and didn’t want to break it but folded in in end. Heading over the seatpostman on Monday morning.

Wow, I’m intrigued how he did it…..amazing, does he have special powers???! And I assume no damage to the frame?

Absolutely no damage to the frame whatsoever. Although he did it whilst I waited he doesn’t like folk in the workshop watching his technique. No loss to me though, had a quick look on marketplace and shot off to Liverpool and picked up a titanium Raleigh RSP M-Trax Elite
