Pace RC200 F2

Well it took over 2 years to finish my F3, so once that was completed, I was given first dibs on FBS's RC200 F2.

With the go ahead from the girlfriend, I went and bought it!!

Now, since my last Pace took so long, I'm hoping this build will be a bit quicker.

It does have the advantage that this one is full bike.

However, it has been "modernised", M737 wheels, M952 rear mech and M950 V brakes!

So first job, is strip it down to and sell/trade the "modern" parts for more suitable alternatives.

The only bits I'll be keeping definately are the Mavic front mech and Middleburn cranks.

Am thinking XT parts, but an open to alternative suggestions.

I fear, I maybe slightly addicted to Pace's!

Additionally, what is it about Pace's and frame sizes? Every one I see is a huge frame size. As someone who would like one in the distant future, is there many 16-17" ones around?

There are certainly 16" ones around, but I cannot remember seeing that many. They do seem rarer in the smaller sizes. Of the ones I know of, 18 - 19" are the most common sizes.
