Pace RC 35's - repair loose dropout

Retro Newbie
Hi

I have a pair of pace rc 35's (1993) however the bonding on one of the drop outs has come undone and it is now loose.

Anyone repaired such a thing, and any idea of the best bonding/glue to use?

Also, I'm a bit new to all this....so can anyone suggest where I might find a suitable 1" threadless steerer tube??

Cheers
Dave

best thing to do would probably be to contact justbackdated on here he's an ex pace employee who services old pace forks usually has stock of a sellection of various steerers too.

I had the same on an old set of mine and used a 2-part epoxy to bond it. I kept a wheel bolted in to ensure the dropout set straight.

all the more reason :P

if using scotchweld make sure you remove all of the old glue and abrade the fork tube and especially the dropout otherwise the glue will not take properly and it will break apart.
