My PACE RC-35 forks (I think the are XCS) have no rebound on them and are sunk so I assume the elastomers are shot.

How long do the elastomers last from peoples experience? They don't seem to have lasted long in actual mileage since they were last rebuilt

Any recommendations on where to get a replacement set?

I also should have asked does anyone have any experience on polyurethane replacements instead of the rubber?

Try Tim @justbackdated he is "fork english" and is a pace service provider and guru....

I think @johndeverill does elastomers .....

Plus i think pace still sell kits for some early 90s models.

I refurbished my old pairs a couple of years back and its amazing just how goooeee the elastomers can go.....kinda pour them out!

Hope that helps

Thanks. I can see it is John who offers the polyurethane replacements on eBay. Has anyone used these? I suspect they will be better than the original rubber ones for longevity.

I don’t know about longevity as only just fitted but I’ve just put a set of Johns in each of my Rc35s and the swish and rebound is fantastic. I had tried another set off EBay and they were awful, just like stiff rubber….Johns are a revelation.
