I think the original owner spent all his cash on the frame and could only afford the cheapest complete build. Beauty of buying an Orange bitd I guess.

I'm assuming the LX was a complete replacement for the original parts, as it looks like a 1994/5. Seller says he bought from original owner who worked in a bike shop, perhaps it was raced for a season or two then rebuilt?

Either way, that's a bloody bargain :shock:

You could probably make a little bit on selling the LX mechs and shifters, replace with period XT and have an awesome and rare ti bike for around £650...compared to the £1000 hei hei frame in another thread
