Thanks for the advice to move post guys- hope this is ok.
I have my own -bought new 1991 Orange prestige langushing in the garage, I used to race it.
It was of standard DX build with XT seat post, 21 speed STI rapid fire two finger levers and the original black early style canti's. It is in excellent condition (the usual stone chips to the under carriage. It has the white stalk stem and ridgid forks. DX hubs with M7 CD rims.
During its life I upgraded the saddle to Ti flight, the cranks have been replaced with old stock XT items, chain and cassette changed, cables (as you would expect).
I upgraded the brakes to Servo wave style ( late 90's) levers with the upright LX canti's and now the bike runs Pace RC36 carbon forks- the ones with the changable headtube as mine is a 1" steerer. these are married to a white modern RACE FACE stem and Eastern EA 50 cut down bars.
The old forks, saddle, brakes, levers VGC are still at home and safe.
Also a pair of SCOTT AT4 pro bars that addorned the control centre!- remember them....................?
The best bit it was one of the PINK/ WHITE bikes and still wears the dealer sticker Neil Walton cycles and an period OAKLEY sticker on both sdes of the down tube.
I'm still sat on the fence about letting it go but do not use it
I will post pics once I find out how to- help please
Also have a 2009 On One Inbread (Barry White) with Rock shox dukes and XT brakes (V) 18" built as a single spd up for grabs - thinking 170?
