I've been looking for one of these for a while now. A nickel version to finish off (don't laugh) my collection of Oranges & my 5th P7. Aye, it's my favourite model. While admiring Prezza's build thread of his 'loft find' P7 I was bowled over to be given 1st dibs on it if he decided to move it on. He soon confirmed it was for sale & a deal was done. He even delivered it to my office which certainly made my day. It was dress down Friday & I had an Orange t-shirt on. Maybe I had a premonition? Nah - I normally wear an Orange t-shirt on Fridays!
A nicer fella you couldn't hope to meet & I'm certainly very grateful to him for this deal. Especially as I've missed out on a few recently due to price or distance.

Here's his fantastic build thread. He's done a great job & it was like getting a new bike.

As is usual there were a few changes I wanted to make so I set to that last night. It came without saddle or pedals as they were past saving. I've fitted a Ti Flite to it for now but it will be getting a Ritchey Vector saddle shortly. I also added Tioga Sure Foot VI pedals with the handy greaseport. Minor changes were swapping the new FSA stem cap for a Orange 'Strange' one & fitting Ritchey foam grips, sharkfin & a pair of Orange 55 bar ends. Prezza gave me the original headset which I will check over & possibly refit on a future service.

Re:

Great to see it with some top notch additional bits fitted and already out in the woods for a photo shoot within 24hrs of you taking ownership!

Bravo Ross!

I think that bikes found its forever home right there with you mate!

Looking forward to more action shots once the summer decent weather finally arrives....

Ps... thanks for the kind words. I’m glad my hours of tinkering, fettling and polishing went to good use...

Got the planned saddle,a Ritchey Vector, fitted. Also swapped the grips for Orange Friction Addictions & even Orange bar plugs. Took it outt for a short 'physio' blast into local woods from back door earlier this morning.

Re:

I wish mine looked half as good, but then it wouldn't have been £80 and wouldn't keep me busy over the next few weeks stuck at home :)
