Orange frame suspension geometry question

Hi guys does anyone know if a set of pace rc36's would be ok on a 93/94 clockwork or p7. Think the forks are 96/97.
I currently have the forks fitted to a 17" 96/97 c16r but thinking of getting a 19" frame as it seems a tad small and the one I have found is from 93.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Cheers, Mark

depends on the amount of travel, on as frame that early i would suggest max 60mm but 96ish forks maybe 80mm, try them and see what it feels like.

I had a 1995 c16 and the frame design was very similar to my 1993 Clockwork so you should be ok. One problem could be the fork steerer length if you're going from 17" to 19".

I agree with Brocklanders that the 96/7 frames were still made for the same length rigid forks as the 93/4, so any given suspension fork should work the same with either.

You should be able to identify your RC36 here http://www.goatsurfer.com/pace_forks.html#1997 They had either 70mm or 90mm travel, so if yours is set to 70mm, I would say it was fine, provided you keep stem length to 10cm or so. An RC36 set to 90mm would be quite long - an 8cm stem might rescue you, but some people find that kind of solution a bit modern.
