The early Orange Aluminium 'O' and 'Elite' didn't have wishbones...

I did think that when I saw it, but I don't think the rear triangle is right for an Ali O the seat stays aren't meaty enough. I can't see a canti cable hanger either.

Yeah, agree with the meatiness (or lack of) in the chain/seatstays, but the pics are very dark.... :roll:

When he says it needs a dropout he presumably means a mech hanger. If you don't know what frame it is, you could be pushed to find a mech hanger that would fit.

It looks modern to me. An Aluminium O had down tube cable routing, but this doesn't.

yeah, i think it's relatively modern but no disc mount and no cantilever cable mount on the rear suggest 98 onwards maybe? v brake specific, more recent stuff would have had the disc mount aswel.
