Was original spec Orange Clockwork 1993, all lx, but wanted most of the LX stuff for my kirk build, so just replaced the parts with stuff i had lying around, ranges from alivio rear wheel, to dx rear mech and canti's etc, a very nice steel hardtail, have some RC-35's lined up, awaiting new elastomers

IMHO take em off they are way too big! but hey if they work keep em.

Is it the small saddle that makes the tyres look massive?

it had on it the original seat, some big comfy thing with an orange on it, and also a folding specialized ground control tyre and a tioga psycho 2 tyre, have replaced the tyres with velociraptors front and back, and a specialized body geometry ti saddle

also now have a pair of DX cranks, and DX brake levers for it, along with a pair of dx thumbies, just need a front mech to complete the dx full groupset
