It’s first batch aluminium o. 1991.
It was Matt grey originally.
I gave this alloy o frame to someone for free 3-4 months back. Have put pictures of it on your Facebook thread.
I bought it off the original owner, who bought it in 1991, unfortunately it was left in his garden for many years. It’s obviously been rubbed down since I had it.

There's a coincidence. Was just browsing through a few "O" threads and thought I'd look in on your Prot'O'type Calum.
Scrolled down and saw this 17" 'O' and wondered if you still had it and what were you going to do with it..... As apart from the Unicorn, the project shelf is bare and I'm looking for ideas.

Glad it's resurfaced here. Don't know the Matt Silver paint code myself either...... Like the OP, I hastily stripped the paint from #020 when I had it without recording it to paint in Orange/White fade.
That bike, your own project, and that recent eBay outed one has got me reminiscing!

Best of luck with the build..... and yes, Gil_M definitely has these decals on file.

Had an 'O' until last year, when my brother in law wanted to build an electric bike, he didn't want something off the shelf, so i decided on giving him this.
He travelled up from abergavenny to cheshire, with the electric kit, and we fitted it up.
it still has the xt cantis, stalk lite stem and Orange enduro saddle.

Its now powering up and down the hills!
