Opinions on a Rocky Mountain

Hey,

I've just moved out to South Korea and have been in contact with a guy who's selling a Rocky Mountain. Looking around bikes like this don't come up too often with everyone favouring the latest carbon such and such... The price seems ok at £350ish but just after opinions on the frame, forks, and general spec - Its a bike I intend to use regularly rather than hide away somewhere

Heres the ad: http://seoul.craigslist.co.kr/bik/4309914541.html

Cheers,
Steven

I don't know much about RM's but I think the Blizzard has always been steel? Looks a bit like a Thin Air to me.

There's no price on the ad, is £350 what he is asking?

I say go for it. There's probably more then £350 worth of XTR on it plus a CK headset and some other decent bits so if you don't like it you won't lose.

Yeah I'm sure its not a Blizzard, if it was I'd have it by now as a steel frame would be much nicer.

I don't know the Rocky Mountain range enough to distinguish which model it is or the age - quick google search didn't result in anything either

Wouldn't normally look at something like this but the second hand market isn't that great over here so my options are limited. I'll send the guy another message quick but basically just looking to get some reassurance that the frame and forks are going to offer a nice enough ride.

Thanks again

Steven
