Roll Up, Roll Up and take advantage of my Bank Holiday Madness!
For sale is beloved 1990 Alpinestar Cro-Mega LX Single Speed.
Frame is 17.5 inch C2C, top tube is 22 inch C2C.
As you can see from the pictures (more available if you send me your e-mail address) it is lovely well used 19 year old vintage Alpinestar. It is full lurid Fluro Pink and white paint, the paint is a little chipped here and there but it has no dents, dings or otherwise. It is as solid as a solid thing on planet solid.
Full Spec:
46T Shimano M550 170mm Crank/DMR 16T Cassette Body with DMR chain tensioner, shimano chain, Deore XT pedals (smooth like melted butter but are worn on the cage bodies).
Shimano BRM 351 Black Cantis with unknown Shimano Levers.
ARAYA VP-20 rim on the front with Exage hub with Continental Mountain King 2.4 tyre with 50% tread remaining.
ARAYA VP-20 rim on the rear with unknown shimano hub (silver) with Continental Speed King 2.1 tyre with 40% tread remaining.
1 and 1/4 inch black headset with same seatpost + collar. WTB SST saddle (its comfy). Outland D25 Four riser bars with Outland Grips. ***Alpinestar 1 1/4 riser Quill Stem with badge intact***
The bike is my general street ride to the shops and stuff. I love riding this bike with its upright relaxed position and its single speed effortless riding. I am making way for a new project that is coming soon so i'm having a bit of a clearout with all sorts of stuff.
I don't want to Evilbay the bike as its worth more than that, it needs to go to a good home that will appreciate it and maybe even convert it back to full 21 speed magic. It would make a magic ride for a retrobiker. Cash on collection is good for me, i will even provide you with a Brew and a slice of cake, or papypal gift is good too, with postage being £11 through courier.
Price = £100 or best offer. Post a reply of interest on here first then PM me, i will get back ASAP in order of registered interests.
I am not up for spliting (unless you make me really good offer) but may consider a swap with a bit or Dinar in either direction for the right bike.
Come on Retrobikers, give in to your inner wanting for an Alpinestar.
