I saw these headsets were being produced and thought I'd give them a try some months ago. I have used 2 of them on 2 bikes so far and not a pretty picture.
What a dreadful piece of engineering they are. Really not worth the money, and actually kept loosening themselves due to their convex/concave bearing design. Thoroughly frustrating and what's more the materials used are a little second rate (see chrome plated base plate).
So anybody thinking of them, steer clear in my opinion. I will be searching out a King replacement. Whilst King are expensive by comparison, are they really in the long run?
I have had a King headset for many years that's never been serviced, and still works perfectly. Certainly cheaper than £25 every year and the frustration of refitting and loosening itself.
