For the first time in what seems like forever I have nothing pressing today so I am sat waiting to go pick up the old trout from the airport, surfing Ebay for a valentine's present and the Olympics is on. Why on earth don't we have climbing in the Olympics when they have figure skating? Don't get me wrong, I like a set of peachy buttocks as much as the next woman, but most people I know climb, very few skate seriously.

Apparently not even in the mix for 2020. Surely it fits in perfectly with either the summer or winter offering?

Snowbiking would be a trip too.

Climbing is not really Winter specific as you don't need cold stuff.

I don't know anyone who climbs. I also don't know anyone who ice skates.

I fancy a go on one of them tea trays though. Not sure if head first or feet first, it all looks completely mad. :mrgreen:

They did try having sports climbing a few years back and they ran it as a demonstration at one of the Olympics, but it didn't make the cut.
