What about that horrific Macaw (coloured tyres) advert with a line-up of bikini thong clad girls straddling some BSO with their coloured tyre range...

I always thought Dave Wonderly looked SO COOL!

He was everything I wasn't, but SO wanted to be:
> Long blonde hair (I had dark hair, but it was too wavy to grow long properly so just formed a horrendous mullet)
> Manly moustache (I was too young to grow one)
> Cool GT kit (don't think it ever came to the UK?)
> Lastly a 1990 GT Team Avalanche (I could never afford, but so wanted)

33 years later I finally own a 16" 1990 Team Avalanche after years of looking. I'm now old enough to grow a moustache, but it would be a combo of dark brown/ginger/grey... however I'm also a complete baldy so no Dave Wonderly look for me, just mad professor/clown hair!!! And I still don't have one of those Aussie GT all terra jerseys...
