Does any one know what year this might be? I know it's entry level but am struggling to find it! Looking in the archives I think it's 1990. The owner says it's black but I'm wondering if it's Aegean blue?
Tempted to get it as a work bike and sell my Gary Fisher

1994 Eiger? That had metallic black as the alternative colour scheme.

It has that "unmolested" look about it, so assuming the components are original I'd probably agree with @kingoffootball at 1994-ish (Gripshift makes me think it's older than 1990, and that Chainset?).

Does anyone know what components are fitted to it? I'm assuming it's all pretty low grade stuff! It's up for £35 just fancied another work hack! Either that or sort a few bits on my current one!

100/200gs chainset? Anywhere from about 1990 to 1993.

Get the date codes off a few components and see what they tell you?

If it were me after it I would offer £25 to take it off their hands and promise nit to much then about.
Looks like a good prospect for a work hack.
