Tempted to build up a xizang or zaskar with modern bits and generic carbon.

Any ideas?

might be better to pour carbon on a reissue or modern Xizang frame... maybe put old decals on it..

My only concern would be with the amount of travel you'd get from a modern fork. Maybe if you stuck a cool old AMP fork on it with the modern tat it would look pretty sweet.

the vintage Xizang I came across recently (and had the pleasure of owning) was quite light and agile. The short stays were a blast and it was extremely light.
