yup, very much agree. Currently its down as a recomendation, i'm all for voting to upgrade it to full "rule" status.

It isnt fair on others using the sales/wanted forums if some one lists each of there 900 items as individual threads knocking everyone elses threads to half way down page56.

Hard to enforce as a rule - if someone replies it goes to top etc.

Easier to just randomly remove posts when I feel like it

How about something like the feedback thread, a single topic titled eg "Andy B's for sale items"

If (as I do) you use the "view posts since last visit" function of the forum the threads would still appear without having to search for them

same could apply to wanted items too?

Would that work, or am I just having hungover ramblings again....

Yeah I use the "since last visit" function.

Not sure a single thread per user for life would work though...Jez's would be 800 pages long and difficcult to navigate in mere weeks

I agree with you 'gump', it will be difficult to address this problem, maybe when people have read this and will use one post with all the parts they wish to sell rather select ones, that should go the same on the 'wanted' forum aswell.
