3wks to go, Wife on maternity leave and the coffers starting to empty, means I need to be practical and sell what I can.

I haven't even ridden this since its completion, which is sad considering the time and costs spent sourcing the exact parts I wanted.


Would hope to sell as a complete bike.

So, 97 GT Bravado frame in VGC, frame was rust treated with BRUNOX IX 100by the previous owner ( Gadro ) who got it from the original purchaser with few miles use since new.

I tracked down the orignal x221 on LX wheels and WTB Velociraptor K tyres from a friend of that 1st owner.

Little wear, though a few rounded brass nipples

Mainly XT M739, with LX shifters. All in good to very good cosmetic and functional condition.

All other parts are in VGC, GC, or NOS, though some may have a few scuffs here and there.

Kore Elite post Ti bolt
Kore Ti skewers
Kore lite Stem
Club Roost Go-fast bars
Judy XC. Excellent. Barely any miles. Rebuilt by Chaser with a NOS Upgrade spring kit.

Thanks for the heads up Pete. I'm after a 1992 Bravado in 18". I already have a 97 version which is a lovely bike.

Might be tempted by the forks for my Zaskar if it does end up being split.
It'd be a shame though, as it's very nicely specced as a complete bike.

Thought I would bump this.

Sadly has sat in the garage not being used at all, so condition is as pics.

Price reduction to £400, collection prefered and I would travel approx 50mls for a f2f.

Alternatively I may split if there is enough interest in the major components.
