Now, isn't retrobike a real community?

35 here, and feel like I have missed out on so much by not finding out about this community untill only a few weeks ago. I have been threatening myself to get back into riding for about 5 years, at last I have done it! Full of "new to the scene" excitement and can't stop buying stuff! Got 3 very nice bikes already and just bought another Klein-why? :? Wife will not understand  , especially as we are saving for a bigger family home-doh! I am just thinking of my health love!

Its cool to be able to come on here and geek out! And the retro rides I've been on have been cool aswell :D
I've just had to work out how old I am,32,I never really think about it 8)

"So young and so full of bikes? Haven't you respegt for oldies, you young hooligan?"

(pegs it in opposite direction in hoody and tracksuit yelling f words)

I love this site, I'm 30 in a week and was an ankle biter when I got into MTB's at the end of the eighties. I must confess to leaving the whole sport for a number of years then hanging out with the modern crew for a while in the first half of this decade, finding a lot of them to be label obsessed and pretty rude. Pleased to say though that I have now seen the light and returned to my childhood thanks to Retrobike. The people here are so helpful it astounds me! Love it! :)

Im 22, youngest yet

I just got into bikes, got a nice modern one, but also wanting a retro one to build up as a project. I find this forum very friendly, welcoming and helpfull.
I,ve sold and bought a few things off here, and i,ve only been on a few weeks :D

And I thought I would claim that title at 25, guess I'm a few minutes late.

I have to say I feel the love over here in New York. Have only been on a couple of months but have found a very inviting group of people sharing their knowledge and appreciating some of mine. I only wish there were more of us on my side of The Pond. If ever any of you are slipping through my Big City drop a line, I'd love to go for a ride.
