road Bike of The Month
Wouldn’t want to go down any steep technical descents on that then….
It is on steel rims and those are very likely the original tires. If I have any one bike which shall never venture off smooth pavement, this is the one. I assumed that was acceptable in the road bike section.

Oh I don't know.

I could well see it on a wooden boardwalk* and the stoker being very involved eating an ice-cream or such like.

* new name for a flat bankless velodrome to please the house racer boys 😄

Rear is a foot actuated coaster brake. 3 speeds and a drum, all stuffed in a cylinder the size of a soup can!

(Not my picture)

Had the pleasure (no joke) of servicing the exact same model. Very satisfying considering how much is crammed in and how they can be serviced and working like a charm again. I opted for more loose bearings instead of caged on the NDS (left butter tray).

That is an original Fichtel & Sachs roadside / service wrench - which I didn't have and had to go rummaging in the charity store; got lucky and found an old equivalent from Motobecane. Plenty of these still in use all over the place.
