Not really much to discuss is there? I think we probably all agree it's despicable.

There's really nothing anyone can say to add anything of any value to what you've just put so eloquently.

agree.

very Daily Mail reporting

I have Muslim friends, some born here and some born in Pakistan. Talking to them last night they are equally appalled by the actions taken by a very small group of people yesterday. They put up with so much shit living in this country and things like this just make their lives so much harder.

I hope we are all mature and intellegent enough to realise this was a small group of radicalized people causing trouble, just the same as there was a small group of radicalized white people throwing bricks at our police officers just a few days back in London.

Very sad indeed, but remember these people are NOT Muslim as much as they say they are. They are the equivalent of the radical Christian suicide sects.

100's of years of invading countries is what got us into the mess we are in, invading more won't solve a thing and will just create more radical nutters.

i still think they should be prosecuted

tho the media has a lot to answer for on this maybe we should all ignore
the press and such like ,just as i have done for the last 10 or so years

The press are the common factor in all these things and although they may say otherwise for political correctness, they are secretly hoping what they report on stirs up the right kind of feeling so they can continue reporting on the story.

But it is not just that, for everything a political activist does, they depend wholely on the media, as reported actions are the publicity they crave. Without the media, would there be any point doing what they do, I expect not as it will then be akin to disagreeing in the prescence of other disagree'ers, the ones that are the intended to offend won't know, so a waste of time and the very real possibility no cops or press around activist might get a beating by public or police.

But seeing as we all crave this kind of negativity, we fuel the media by buying what they sell and in turn promote the activist to act, we are the key here, send the message that we are not interested and the media will find other things to poke, but the activist is denied an audience.

The funniest stories are the media reporting a media frezy

Why won't people just get it, our problems are the media, as without them we would just carry on with our lives as they concern us instead of getting passionate about things we can do nothing about.
